Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov met with the Ambassador of Vietnam in Belarus Do Van Mai, who is completing his diplomatic mission in the country. As the head of the Government said, Belarus is interested in further export in Vietnam proven potash fertilizers, trucks, dump trucks, large tires, tractors and metal products. According to him, there is also the intention to expand the range of export goods at the expense of radio-electronic industry, petrochemical industry products, dairy products, confectionery, pharmaceuticals. At the same time, Andrei Kobyakov noted positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation in trade, economy, industry, science and technology, human relations, emerging in recent years. The Prime Minister thanked Do Van May for fruitful work and expressed confidence that the next Ambassador will continue to work towards the development of the Belarusian-Vietnamese relations. Andrei Kobyakov said that Belarus attaches great importance to the development of joint projects for assembly plants and announced readiness to expand the range of trucks and buses, to facilitate the provision of service vehicles. In May this year an agreement was signed between the EAEU and Vietnam on free trade zone. This is the first agreement on free trade zone EAEU signed with a country that is not part of the union. Andrei Kobyakov expressed confidence that it will provide opportunities for joint promotion of products on the markets of third countries. Belarusian head of Government also stressed that Vietnam to Belarus has always been a predictable, reliable and promising partner. Andrei Kobyakov expressed appreciation for the introduction of Vietnam visa-free entry for short trips of Belarusian citizens, which came into force on 1 July 2015. According to the Prime Minister, it will have a positive impact on the dynamics of bilateral contacts at all levels. In turn, Do Van Mai thanked Andrei Kobyakov for the high appreciation of his activity as an Ambassador and expressed confidence in further fruitful cooperation between two countries. |
