Andrei Kobyakov met with the Ambassador of Brazil

The Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil in Belarus Paulo Antonio Pereira Pinto.

The head of the Government said, that Brazil is the most important trading partner of Belarus in Latin America. In recent years, bilateral trade consistently hovering around $ 1 billion. Andrei Kobyakov expressed his interest to overcome as quick as possible the trend of its reduction, that emerged in recent years.

The Prime Minister noted the unstable situation in the global economy. Andrei Kobyakov hopes that those signs of economic stability and the return to economic growth that emerged literally in the last days will be decisive and not random.

Belarusian head of the Government also noted that the cooperation between Belarus and Brazil intensified markedly. A special place in the relationship takes the July meeting of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and President of Brazil Dilma Rousseff during the BRICS summit. Andrei Kobyakov has once again confirmed that the invitation to the President of Brazil to visit Belarus acts, the Belarusian side hopes that this opportunity will be realized in the near future. He also believes that the main task of not only today's meeting, but the closest cooperation should become the most efficient implementation of the agreements reached during the meeting of the two Ppresidents.
