Belarus will provide humanitarian assistance to Japan hit by the earthquake and tsunami.

The Council of Ministers instructed the Finance Ministry to allocate $500,000 for the Belarusian Embassy in Japan from the national budget envisaged for funding the expenditure related to natural calamities, emergencies and catastrophes.
