The scientific and practical conference "20 Years of the Commonwealth of Independent States” will take place at the CIS headquarters in Minsk on 28-29 September 2011. Such a decision was made in line with Resolution No. 406 of the Council of Ministers of Belarus.

In line with the resolution, the organizing committee to prepare an international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Commonwealth of Independent States has been set up in Belarus. Sergei Rumas, Deputy Prime Minister, National Coordinator of Belarus for the CIS, will head the organizing committee.
