Belarus Government chooses innovative development projects to run till 2030

The Government has put together lists of republican projects of the State program on innovative development of the Republic of Belarus in 2026-2030 and measures to develop the innovation infrastructure.

Prime Minister of Belarus Aleksandr Turchin signed the relevant resolution.

The document provides for implementing 42 major innovative projects in various branches: facilities will be set up to manufacture domestic household appliances, powerful tractors, buses, timber harvesting machines and manipulators for harvesting and logging machines, innovative medications and veterinary drugs, and other products.

Apart from that, ten measures will be implemented in 2026-2030 to develop science and technology parks, including major ones like the Minsk City Technopark and the Brest Oblast Technopark.

Apart from that, the resolution assigns innovative development targets to every customer of the State program, including the share of innovative products in the total output, the export of science-intensive and high-tech products, and other indicators.

A total of about Br1.3 billion will be allocated to finance the innovative projects and events over five years. The state budget will allocate over 77% of the sum (Br995.6 million).

Over the entire five-year period the program will be expanded with new projects and events of utmost importance for the innovative development of the Republic of Belarus.
