Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin held a telephone conversation with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on 13 May.
Following the agreements reached by President Aleksandr Lukashenko of Belarus and President Vladimir Putin of Russia during their talks in Moscow on 8 May, the Heads of Government reviewed current issues on the bilateral agenda, including expanding Belarus-Russia trade, economic, scientific and technological cooperation.
Aleksandr Turchin and Mikhail Mishustin reaffirmed the importance of intensifying integration cooperation within the Union State [of Belarus and Russia] and the Eurasian Economic Union.
