The Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Turchin, visited the POZHNAB LLC plant in Borisov.
The company's supply geography covers the entire Eurasian continent and Africa. Belarusian fire trucks are operated in the CIS countries and abroad. The Russian Federation is the most important foreign market for the company.
In order to ensure competitiveness and ensure high operational performance and reliability, the company's technologies are constantly being improved. If the first tank trucks were manufactured using the so-called traditional frame technology with a metal tank, today they focus on composite materials that are not susceptible to corrosion and have a long life cycle (20 years or more). Fire superstructures "POZHSNAB" were created using the most modern design methods.
As for the new developments of the enterprise, the topic of fire trucks has been developed after the production of a unique 52-meter one, but already for the needs of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation. "First of all, we have developed a lighter and simpler 30-meter ladder. She has passed the tests, and the final preparatory work is underway. This is a new product for us. The most amazing thing is that we used to move incrementally - the stairs became more and more complicated, but here we had to work in the opposite direction: the most simplified product," said Oleg Deryabin, Director of POZHNAB LLC.
The second area of work of POZHNAB LLC is the application of developments obtained jointly with MAZ for the production of fire and rescue vehicles on the MAZ chassis with long service life. "Currently, colleagues from KAMAZ are working with us to develop a number of such vehicles based on the KAMAZ chassis. This is the main work that is underway now," the director emphasized.
"The volume of more complex equipment in the production line has increased dramatically - these are mobile hospitals and control centers. We actively produce such orders for export. Last year, we mastered the production of equipment for the needs of about eight countries, so I rate 2025 as a very successful one," said the head of the enterprise.
The new 7,500-square-meter production facility, which was commissioned at the end of 2024, has significantly increased production capacity.
Alexander Turchin was presented with a range of products and promising projects.
The Prime Minister has set the task to work out possible options for the production of special equipment manufactured on a small-sized chassis developed by POZHSNAB together with JSC MAZ for various sectors of the country's economy.
